About the Role

As a Product Security Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager of Product Security. Your primary mission is to support your team in solving complex security challenges efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate with product and engineering leaders to assess risks and promote a culture of security within the company.

What You'll Do

• Lead and grow the team: Manage, mentor, and hire for a team of 5+ security engineers. Support their career growth and ensure high standards of technical execution.
• Scale secure design: Facilitate threat modeling and design reviews, ensuring technical rigor and consistency. Identify bottlenecks and drive automation and process improvements.
• Build bridges, not walls: Cultivate strong relationships with product management and engineering leadership, positioning your team as empathetic partners.
• Foster a security culture: Support initiatives that enhance security awareness and practices across the organization.
• Strategic prioritization: Help your team balance product goals and security requirements, focusing on high-impact work.

What We're Looking For

• Experienced management: 2+ years of experience leading a team of security engineers with a track record of keeping talent engaged.
• Servant leadership: Measure your success by your team's achievements and provide clear priorities to reduce distractions.
• Technical context: Strong background in Product Security, Application Security, or Secure Architecture, with the ability to engage in technical discussions.
• Empathy & communication: Translate complex security risks into business context and teach your team to communicate effectively.

Nice to Have

Experience in translating security expectations for cloud customers into actionable principles for product architecture.

• Compensation Range: $181,600.00 - $227,000
