Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance

Join Mozilla as a Senior Financial Analyst in our Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will lead financial planning processes, reporting, and strategic analysis to help us achieve our mission of making the internet better for people.

About the Role

The Mozilla Finance team is responsible for managing resources and overseeing financial operations. We are looking for a Corporate Financial Analyst to consolidate forecasts, drive budget discipline, and enhance our reporting infrastructure. You will report to the Head of FP&A and collaborate with finance partners and senior leaders across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Communicate effectively and present clearly to persuade teams and prioritize resources.
• Support the monthly forecast cycle, including preparing and presenting insights to Finance leadership.
• Maintain integrated financial models, including near/long-range forecasts and variance analysis.
• Develop executive-level reporting, including monthly dashboards and management packages.
• Automate existing reporting processes using tools like Pigment and Looker.
• Translate business strategies into financial impacts through investment evaluations and ROI analyses.
• Transform legacy reporting processes into scalable tools that deliver accurate information quickly.
• Work with accounting during close cycles to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Contribute to the development of three-statement models and scenario-based forecasts.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience managing budgets and forecasting independently.
• 3+ years in Corporate FP&A, preferably in a high-growth or tech-enabled environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Business.
• Experience using planning tools like Pigment and Adaptive.
• Experience with Netsuite is highly preferred; Workday is a plus.
• Ability to create compelling visualizations and presentations.
• Experience with Looker or other BI tools is a plus.
• Understanding of month-end close processes and financial principles.
• Strong knowledge of three-statement financial modeling and accounting concepts.
• Flexibility and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with financial modeling and advanced spreadsheet skills (including VBA, array functions, Power Pivots).
• Ability to tackle diverse projects requiring various skills, including Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Desire to take on more responsibility and grow your career.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence others.
