About the Role:

Salary range: $85k – $155k USD*

We are looking for skilled engineers who love to code and tackle challenging problems. As part of the Core UX team, you will refine existing product functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience. Your focus will be on ensuring consistency across the product, maintaining a cohesive look and feel, and implementing performance improvements that directly impact end users. You’ll pay close attention to layout, interactions, responsiveness, and visual polish to give the product a premium feel.

You will collaborate with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable backend solutions as we grow. In our small team, your contributions will have a significant impact on both our technology and our business.

What You'll Do:

• Improve and polish functionalities to enhance user experience.
• Ensure consistency in product design and performance.
• Collaborate with team members to build scalable solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, especially in improving user experience.
• Strong ownership of your work and ability to drive projects to completion.
• Proactive communication skills, surfacing blockers and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Comfort with experimentation, testing ideas, and iterating on solutions.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, preferably React.
• Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, or Python; open to candidates from other OO backgrounds.
• Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2), asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Bonus: experience with LLMs/generative AI and distributed systems.
