About the Role

As a member of Kraken's onchain strike team, you will help shape the future of our products. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are dedicated to bridging the gap between centralized exchanges and decentralized finance.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of new product concepts for the onchain space.
• Create visually rich and innovative designs that enhance Kraken's brand recognition.
• Influence stakeholders to maintain high design standards.
• Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, content writers, and engineers to create exceptional user experiences.
• Develop the visual concept for Kraken’s onchain products.
• Balance business objectives, customer needs, and technical constraints to achieve data-informed outcomes.
• Take full accountability for the quality of your designs and track outcomes.
• Monitor emerging customer trends to inform design upgrades.
• Lead design reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Expertise in solving UX challenges and crafting intuitive user experiences.
• Experience using research-backed methods and analytics to guide design decisions.
• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to mentor others and inspire excellence.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Ethereum and decentralized workflows.
• Familiarity with financial platforms like trading platforms, perps, derivatives, and pro trading terminals.
• Proven experience leading product design initiatives across mobile and web, especially in the onchain or crypto space.
