Senior Product Manager, AI
Join Postscript as a Senior Product Manager for our new AI product. You will lead the development from concept to market, shaping what the product is and how it serves our customers.
About the Role
At Postscript, we provide ecommerce brands with tools for effective SMS marketing. Our mission is to make SMS the top revenue channel for ecommerce merchants. As a fully remote company founded in 2018, we are growing rapidly and looking for a Senior Product Manager to take charge of a new AI initiative.
What You'll Do
- Manage the entire product lifecycle for a new AI product, from discovery to launch and beyond.
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer needs and AI/ML feasibility.
- Work with machine learning engineers and prompt engineers to assess AI model capabilities and design user experiences.
- Run experiments to test ideas about AI features and their value to customers.
- Write clear product specifications and success criteria for AI features.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, customer success, and leadership to launch and improve the product.
- Stay informed about the AI landscape in ecommerce and SMS.
- Promote the AI product vision both internally and externally.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years with AI/ML products.
- Experience in launching new products (not just improving existing ones).
- Background in ecommerce SaaS, martech, or messaging platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively.
- Ability to determine when AI adds value and when it does not.
- Proven track record of shipping products quickly and learning from data.
- Excellent communication skills, making complex ideas easy to understand.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance your product management work.
- A portfolio showcasing your work with AI tools is a plus.
