As a Staff Product Manager, you will play a key role in turning product value into revenue and insights. You will lead the development of our real-time billing and reporting systems, ensuring they connect product innovation to reliable revenue and accurate forecasting.

About the Role

This role is crucial in our growth journey. You will own the build of Socure’s real-time billing, usage metering, entitlements, and reporting on RiskOS. You will collaborate with various teams including Product, Engineering, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Business Intelligence to create a standardized billing foundation that our leaders and customers can trust.

What You'll Do

• Define the billing spec: Create and maintain a standardized billing and metering specification for consistent monetization and usage capture.
• Build real-time billing: Work with Engineering to implement a real-time, event-driven billing flow in RiskOS.
• Lead billing modernization: Manage the migration from legacy systems to a new unified billing architecture, ensuring data integrity and audit continuity.
• Own entitlements and usage: Design APIs and SDKs for product teams to meter usage and enforce entitlements reliably.
• Report with clarity: Create core data products and dashboards for billing and performance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Harden the data: Ensure data quality, integrity, and auditability for billing and reporting datasets.
• Integrate the stack: Drive the roadmap for ERP, CPQ, CRM, and payments integrations.
• Close the loop: Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and RevOps on revenue recognition and forecasting.
• Guide pricing and packaging: Advise PMs on new products and features, enabling experiments and pricing plans.
• Instrument and observe: Establish monitoring and alerting for billing services to reduce revenue leakage.
• Continuously improve: Identify gaps, propose enhancements, and prioritize the roadmap.

What We're Looking For

• 4 to 7 years in product management or a similar role in SaaS or B2B technology, with experience in billing or revenue operations.
• Strong understanding of billing systems and financial data pipelines.
• Experience working with Finance, Accounting, and BI to deliver impactful tools and reporting.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear specifications and drive execution.
• Familiarity with data modeling, pipelines, and API integrations.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to dive into data and resolve issues.

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time billing, usage analytics, or tools like NetSuite, Snowflake, or Tableau.
