At Deel, we are looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the client payment experience. You will oversee the entire process of how clients interact with payments on our platform, ensuring a smooth and trustworthy experience.

About the Role

This role is part of Deel’s Fintech Client Experience group. You will be responsible for the end-to-end product experience for client payments. This includes managing payment methods, paying invoices, configuring automatic payments, and understanding fees and payment statuses.

What You'll Do

• Own the client-facing payment journey across Deel’s web and platform surfaces.
• Manage the payment setup and configuration, including cards, bank transfers, and autopay.
• Oversee payment permissions and roles, determining who can pay or approve payments.
• Ensure clarity around payment status, receipts, overdue invoices, FX, and processing fees.
• Start your scope when a client adds a payment method or an invoice is payable, and end once the payment is handed off to the payment orchestration engine.

Typical Problem Spaces You'll Tackle

• Help clients understand and resolve failed or declined payments with clear explanations.
• Enhance client confidence in payment status and invoice reconciliation.
• Provide visibility on which payment method was used for transactions.
• Support clients in managing automatic and recurring payments.
• Clarify payment permissions and approval flows.
• Explain FX rates, processing fees, and charges transparently.

You will be a senior individual contributor, shaping strategy and driving alignment across teams while staying connected to execution.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Senior or Staff Product Manager in B2B SaaS or fintech.
• Strong judgment in complex financial systems.
• Experience managing client-facing workflows built on sophisticated platforms.
• Empathy for user experience, with an understanding of technical constraints.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity among stakeholders.
• Skill in influencing and collaborating without direct authority.

Nice to Have

• Experience with native mobile applications.
• Familiarity with payments, billing, invoicing, or financial operations products.
