LATAM Sales Lead

Join Allium as our first dedicated sales leader for Latin America. In this role, you will shape our regional sales strategy and drive growth. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships, close deals, and lead a team as we expand in this exciting market.

About the Role

You will be responsible for creating and executing the LATAM sales strategy from the ground up. This includes sourcing and closing deals, defining our ideal customer profile (ICP), mapping the ecosystem, and eventually managing a team. The LATAM market presents a significant opportunity for Allium, and you will be at the forefront of converting this demand into revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement the full LATAM sales strategy, including ICP definition and territory mapping.
  • Source, qualify, and close deals with crypto exchanges, protocols, DeFi applications, traditional finance institutions, payment companies, compliance teams, and analytics firms.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key players in the ecosystem, such as exchanges, VCs, accelerators, and strategic partners.
  • Represent Allium at major LATAM crypto and fintech events and establish a strong community presence.
  • Collaborate with Allium's global go-to-market team on messaging and positioning tailored for the LATAM context.
  • Work with Solution Engineering and Customer Success to ensure smooth post-sale transitions and positive customer outcomes.
  • Provide market intelligence to Product and leadership regarding regional use cases and data needs.
  • Define the hiring plan for the LATAM team and assist in recruiting and onboarding your first Account Executives and Business Development Representatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role, preferably in data infrastructure, developer tools, fintech, or SaaS.
  • A proven track record of closing complex deals and building relationships with technical and executive decision-makers.
  • Deep knowledge of LATAM's crypto, Web3, or fintech ecosystem, including familiarity with key builders, funds, exchanges, and protocols.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, along with strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and build processes from scratch.
  • Comfortable in both technical settings and high-stakes deal cycles.
  • Strong instincts for ICP selection, outbound sequencing, and pipeline management, with a commitment to maintaining clean CRM data and honest forecasts.
  • Experience working with or selling to exchanges, L1/L2 protocols, DeFi applications, or traditional finance institutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the crypto space.
