Mid-Market Account Executive

About the Role
As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will represent Customer.io to potential customers and help expand our presence in key market segments. You'll be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
What You'll Do
- Pipeline Development and Management: Build and manage a pipeline through self-sourced leads and support from the SDR team to acquire new customers.
- Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Lead the sales process from prospecting and discovery to demo and closing, focusing on new business in targeted accounts.
- Customer Needs Analysis and Solution Alignment: Conduct discovery calls to understand customer challenges and goals, and position Customer.io's solutions accordingly.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Feedback: Work closely with the SDR team for lead quality feedback and collaborate with Customer Success and Technical Support for a smooth hand-off after sales.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Own and report on your sales metrics, including pipeline status and progress towards targets.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle B2B SaaS or MarTech sales, specifically with mid-market accounts.
- Location: Candidates must be based in the UK, Ireland, or the Americas (Canada and the USA).
- B2B SaaS or MarTech Experience: Proven success in acquiring new customers and closing deals in the B2B SaaS space, preferably in MarTech.
- Sales Methodology: Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar framework that supports consultative selling.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to build rapport with prospects.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify customer needs and position relevant solutions effectively.
- Deal Focus: Experience handling mid-market accounts with shorter sales cycles and lower ACV deals.
Nice to Have
- Support: Experience working closely with SDR teams for lead generation, balancing inbound and self-sourced opportunities.
What We Offer
We believe in transparency and offer a compensation package of $95,000 base salary plus $95,000 variable compensation, totaling $190,000 OTE USD (or equivalent in local currency), subject to market rate adjustments. We value our employees and provide an inclusive benefits package that includes:

Our Process
We aim for a straightforward and respectful hiring process:
- 30-minute video call with a Recruiter.
- 45-minute video call with the Hiring Manager.
- 60-minute Mock Call with the Hiring Team.
