Sales Engineer, Major Enterprise

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to work closely with a Named Account Manager in a specific territory. In this role, you will combine your technical skills with strategic thinking to engage with customers effectively.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interactions and has a strong technical background. You will help identify opportunities, develop solution strategies, and ensure our technical offerings align with customer needs.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with sales to qualify opportunities and define solution strategies.
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and security assessments to identify operational and architectural needs in complex enterprise environments.
  • Design and present secure architectures that include networking, cloud, and SecOps components.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and demos to technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders.
  • Act as the primary technical expert during sales cycles, guiding enterprise accounts through evaluation and decision-making processes.
  • Advise on cybersecurity strategies, including Zero Trust, SASE, cloud security, and SecOps modernization.
  • Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior leadership, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor.
  • Translate technical concepts into business value discussions for executive-level conversations.
  • Support smooth deployment transitions by collaborating with professional services, support, and customer success teams.
  • Provide roadmap guidance, operational reviews, and strategic check-ins to reinforce customer value realization.
  • Continue as a trusted advisor to enterprise leadership, ensuring alignment of their evolving needs with our solution capabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong technical background with experience in cybersecurity.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in enterprise environments.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Zero Trust and SASE frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and SecOps practices.
