Join GitLab as a Lead Project Manager for CRO Programs. In this role, you will help our Revenue organization turn executive priorities into tangible outcomes. You will coordinate multiple initiatives, ensuring senior leaders across various departments stay aligned and informed.

About the Role

As the Lead Project Manager, you will work within the Office of the CRO. Your main goal will be to bring clarity to complex tasks by tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring follow-through. You will report directly to the Chief of Staff to the CRO.

What You'll Do

  • Own execution visibility across CRO initiatives, surfacing stalled work and unclear ownership.
  • Lead coordination for multiple strategic initiatives, keeping deliverables, owners, dependencies, due dates, and status clear.
  • Drive information architecture across initiatives by establishing shared standards for tracking and communication.
  • Capture decisions and action items from leadership meetings, tracking completion through to delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to keep work moving and priorities aligned.
  • Translate executive direction into actionable workstreams, ensuring clarity on responsibilities and timelines.
  • Identify and resolve risks early, managing blockers and competing priorities.
  • Maintain momentum through regular check-ins and concise status updates.
  • Manage the operating cadence, tracking initiative progress and maintaining accurate reporting.
  • Hold partners accountable by following up diplomatically to ensure commitments are met.
  • Provide clear communication by summarizing complex work for executives and offering detailed guidance for execution teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives and tracking deliverables to completion.
  • Ability to drive follow-through from senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and translating executive direction into clear workstreams.
  • Strong organizational judgment and risk identification skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills tailored for different audiences.
  • Familiarity with revenue-facing teams and their operating rhythms.
  • Experience building or improving workflow systems using project management tools.
  • An accountability mindset and a collaborative approach, ideally from program management or operations backgrounds.

Nice to Have

Experience with automation, shared documentation standards, or project management tooling is a plus.
