At 1Password, we are looking for a Staff Business Program Manager to help us bring new product initiatives to life. In this role, you will oversee the operational aspects of our product roadmap, ensuring that our projects move smoothly from concept to launch.

About the Role

This position is critical for coordinating our ecosystem-connected roadmap initiatives. You will lead the operational execution of technical projects, working closely with various teams to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the process. This is a remote opportunity available within Canada and the US.

What You'll Do

• Own NPI operations as a program: Define and manage the operating model for ecosystem operations related to the product roadmap, including intake, prioritization, tracking, and escalation paths.
• Establish measurable expectations: Define what “ecosystem ready” means for roadmap milestones and launch moments.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution: Work with Product, Engineering, and supporting teams to ensure partner-connected initiatives progress predictably and on schedule.
• Lead launch readiness: Drive integrated readiness plans with leadership and key partners, ensuring all operational deliverables are completed on time.
• Manage external engagements: Oversee logistics and preparation for relevant external events, ensuring clear goals and alignment within the team.
• Build scalable processes: Create repeatable playbooks and templates, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Anticipate risks: Coordinate mitigation plans and escalate issues with clear context and recommendations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least 6 years in program management or business operations in a product/technology environment.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Operational judgment: Comfort with ambiguity and a knack for improving developing systems.
• Communication skills: Excellent written communication skills for documenting decisions and sharing updates.

Nice to Have

• Experience with product launches and go-to-market readiness, especially with external-facing assets.
• Familiarity with brand, PR, and legal review processes.
• Experience in early-stage environments where priorities shift quickly.
• Familiarity with startup and developer ecosystems.
• Preferred location in the San Francisco Bay Area for occasional in-person engagements.

What We Offer

We value hard work and offer competitive compensation and benefits:

• USA-based roles: Annual base salary between $149,000 USD and $216,000 USD, plus benefits including health, dental, 401k, paid time off, equity grant, and incentive programs.
• Canada-based roles: Annual base salary between $128,000 CAD and $186,000 CAD, plus benefits including health, dental, RRSP, paid time off, equity grant, and incentive programs.
